#Maspero Massacre : Nobody wins , Egypt Loses

Today is a very sad day in the history of Egypt. Nobody actually won , everybody  has lost especially Egypt , the poor Egypt that deserve this.

Egypt loses when the Egyptian blood is being spelled like that for cheap political gains.

Egypt loses when its official media , its official media “sponsored by the Egyptian tax payers” calls for sectarian clashes on air !!

Egypt today is sad and angry. Egypt today is mourning. We will need a lot of time to fix the sins committed by SCAF and the army , a lot of time indeed and it is not about political concessions. There is blood.

The death toll has increased to 36 while the injured increased to more than 300. The photos and YouTube of those who were killed last night from civilians on Facebook and Youtube are extremely horrible.

Today there will be funerals held for the martyrs who were killed yesterday at Coptic church , there is no news about the victims of the army or their names so far. People suspect the army claims.

It is too much to handle.

  3. Freedom of conscience is an essential tenant of Islam. Truth can only be seen if it is not clouded by coercion. Protection of the rights of non-Muslims is an intrinsic part of Islamic law.

The Prophet Muhammad is reported to have said:
“He who hurts a non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim State – I am his adversary and I shall be his adversary on the Day of Judgment.”
“Beware on the Day of Judgment, I shall, myself, be the accuser against him who wrongs a non-Muslim citizen (of a Muslim State) or Lays on him a responsibility greater than he can bear, or deprives him of anything that belongs to him.”
