ElBaradei : No Party For Me

Mohamed ElBaradei has made it clear in Al Masry Al Youm : He will not represent any party in the coming presidential elections. He will run as an independent presidential candidate and I think it is logic because he demanded a constitutional amendment that allows all citizens to run for the post with no partisan background and all those impossible conditions in infamous 76 article ; the longest article in our constitution !!
This makes me so happy because representing any current party in Egypt will weaken his cause. We all know that these parties are not real parties in the first place and he even said so in his short interview , even that constitutional party which I have never heard about before !!
Dr.ElBaradei said that he wants to change the constitution along with the people peacefully.
By the way Al Dostor claimed that ElBaradei would arrive to Egypt yesterday and that it was a matter of hours when he starts the real battle ; well I waited for him all day long and he did not come so I am wondering about these sources Al Dostor spoke about !! The man told Al Masry that he will return insh Allah in mid January 2010 , well I can't wait till then.
I do not fear on his life because if anything happens to him , the whole world will know about it. Already the whole world is currently speaking about this stupid campaign against him in our official media , it is too over ; when he was awarded Nobel and the Nile Sash ; this official media was praising him day and night and now when he said that we should have a real democratic presidential election he has become the traitor plotting with Iran and America !!!!!
L_1360He was not a traitor then !!??
Strangely there is a strange silence from the MB regarding ElBaradei along with the Nasserites as far as I could see , ElBaradei’s father was tough opponent to both Nasser and also Sadat but I do not get this MB’s silence. Already the man wants an amendment that will allow them to run for the post freely !!?? May be they are busy with all that jazz they have in the group.

FYI today Dream TV 2 aired his interview with Ahmed Al-Moslamany tonight which he recorded with him in Vienna last Summer. Dr. ElBaradei elaborated more on his views about the revolution , about democracy , about the six days war , about the Arab relations and current issues. The man represents what I believe is Pan Arab liberalism.
Insh Allah I will post the video here as soon as I put my hands on them, I think his interview will cause more controversy especially among the Nasserites. Dr. ElBaradei spoke about certain events took place in the background in the UN in the early days of the six days war.

  1. The Nasseriets, the MBs even those in the NDP need to all love the country more and stop just following their normal allegations, this is a crucial moment for the us the ppl and each need to follow what he/she deems best in securing a better future for the country be it El Baradi or someone else.
