What about the footballers and Amr Diab ??

The official and unofficial media now in Egypt has no one to attack except Amr Khaled again and again for no real reason. They started the attack after what the Arabic version of Forbes has published from two weeks ago about the fortune of Amr Khaled.

The magazine is claiming that Amr Khaled's fortune is U.S $ 2.5 Million only , and that he is number one in the most richest Islamic preachers list in the Arab world.

As soon as this was published all those who hate Khaled started the attack.

In their point of view Khaled Should not have this fortune and that this proves he is using religion for his interest and for his profit.

The anti-Khaled campaign is back again in the same time he lunched his campaign against drugs in Egypt with the association of the UN.

Khaled appeared on several channels denying the Forbes' claims saying that this number was the total ads his TV show Hit "On the Prophet's steps"  received from two years ago. Of course his enemies did not waste the time and revealed that the advertising company of his TV shows is owned by him .

Khaled during his interviews spoke about very important point ,I am going to speak about here.

Regardless of Khaled and what he does , is there anything in Islam against being rich or a millionaire ?? seriously those guys who write in the newspapers and in blogs are giving me the feeling that the Islamic preacher should be living like a Monk.

Yes I am here defending Khaled because I feel it is not about the millions but about Khaled himself.

just a question : did he steal this money from anyone like some big tycoons in Egypt??

Just another question : does he pay his taxes or not like some famous Egyptian celebs from actors and footballers ?? I think he does.

Again to Islam , they are claiming that he should not have profit from his TV shows and publications , with my all respect does he have any other job to do except this ?? He left accounting and concentrating on preaching does this mean he has to starve or live like a monk !!

The success of his TV shows bring ads ,ads bring money ,I do not know why they are attacking him seriously.

For God Sake he is taking this huge salary in the same way Amr Diab takes not less one million dollar for the concert , in the same way Adel Emam and Omar Al Sherif took L.E 16 Million for starring in a film I highly doubt that it will achieve this sum of money in the box office , in the same way the footballers of the national time took millions from Egyptian pounds and American dollars for winning one regional championship and then got beaten in front of Argentina . Go and attack Mahmoud Saad who became the highest paid TV host in the Arab world ,this man gets more than the professional Lebanese TV hosts and he did not become a TV host except from 6 years ago !!

If You are going to attack and curse Khaled then please attack curse with him Adel Emam , Mahmoud Saad and all those whose fortunes crossed the millions.

Another point I will repeat it again is it bad or prohibited in Islam to become rich and live in a fine standard of living ??

With my all respect at least Khaled is doing something that is good to this country
